This program offers transportation to medical appointments for seniors and/or low-income residents of West Lincoln, ensuring that transportation barriers do not limit access to care. Applications must be submitted at least one week in advance to confirm availability.
Seniors are defined as individuals aged 65 and older. Individuals who use a wheelchair are welcome; however, at this time, our vehicle is not equipped with a ramp, so riders must be able to load and unload independently.
Do you have a clean driving record and an interest in helping others? We are looking for responsible, kind individuals to drive individuals to medical appointments. We supply the van and the fuel. You donate your time. We require the Volunteer Driver profile (below), a copy of your drivers licence and a Driver Licence History (obtained from Service Ontario for $12, keep the receipt and we will reimburse you).
